Personas fallecidas por Covid-19 en Estados Unidos

Cuando eran 100.000. Ahora son 745.000 personas fallecidas por Covid-19 en Estados Unidos, y sumando 1.500 cada día. Es sobrecogedor pararse a leer algunas de las pequeñas reseñas que aparecieron aquél día de mayo de 2020 en The New York Times. Cada una de esos nombres era una persona con familiares, amigos, hijos, un pasado … En definitiva, eran personas, y eran 100.000 personas. Ahora son 745.000 sólo en Estados Unidos. En España son más de 87.000. Cifras escalofriantes, porque detrás de cada número hay una persona. The New York Times
